PSA Facts AT A Glance

​

• An applicant for a P.E.O. Scholar Awards is required to be nominated by a local P.E.O. chapter and to be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States or Canada.

• She must be within two years of completing her doctoral level degree and she must have one full academic year of work remaining at the time the award payment is made (August 1). She must be enrolled full time in her program at an accredited college or university.

• Only students enrolled in an accredited U.S. or Canadian postsecondary institution are eligible for a P.E.O. Scholar Award. Study abroad is still permitted, provided the student is enrolled in a U.S. or Canadian institution.
